Friday afternoon and we let the dogs run down to the river .... first time since the high water level ... now it's back to normal and all is good. Here's also a tour of the gardens and more :)

I wish I or Lea would have taken a picture of those metal butterflies before she dremeled all the rust off and painted them ..... amazing what you can find and get for 50 cents at a junk store. As for water snakes ... we only have the harmless "Midland Water Snakes", the Spring River is all wrong for the habitat of the CottonMouth or Water Moccasin ... they like still warm swampy sorts of rivers .... at least so we are told :) "efooking" ... LOL!
OK, that explains my encounters with water moccasins when I would go swimming in the sawmill pool out beyond the pasture of the house where I lived in the country.
I really liked your video especially the metal butterflies--those are beautiful.
