Power Has Been Restored!
After a day and half with no power and a day and half with half power .... we are now back on the grid! Here was the $310.00 culprit ....
We thought we had done all the major "preventative maintenance" stuff be we never thought of an old house's main circuit breaker.
Ahhhhhhh .... how I do love thy air conditioner so :)

Don't know if you read my comment yesterday about what happened to us. If not, this is what I said:
ReplyDeleteBoy, did I ever jinx us!! Our power went out at 2:10 yesterday and didn't come back on until 5:00!! Big fire at a relay station. We might have outages today also when it might get to 113--yesterday it was ONLY 105!! We took the dogs and went for a ride from 3:00 until about 4:30. We would have gone to a motel if the power didn't come back on.
OMG!!! At least it was only 105! Could you see us going to a motel???? 2 50 pound dogs .... a screaming parrot ..... an 18 pound cat ..... the fish .... and of course .... the box turtle.
ReplyDeleteY'all going to a motel would be like the Clamptons moving to Hollywood--at least that is how your car would look with all their dishes, food, sleeping gear, etc not to mention the menagerie--it was the Clamptons, wasn't it?
