Otter Creek

We often walk from our house to the trail that follows Otter Creek but today we drove to the trail head because it was raining pretty hard. We had to leave the dogs in the car but they didn't seem to mind too much. I imagine you're thinking ... "why would you want to go on a hike when it's raining?" .... well ..... watch this video to find out :)

  1. Liv's ears really perked up when she heard you talk about rocks and agates. I wonder if there is gold. Looks like a really neat place to do some panning. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Oh, now that I am awake again, I'll put something here! The sound and pictures of the water falls was sooo tranquilizing and so restful--I love the sound of moving water and also seeing it was a real treat--thank you. That was very refreshing!

  3. Mir ... tell Liv that we have a lot of Agate on our property along with some Jasper and even Petrified Wood. I don't think this area is known for having any gold :( but it would still be fun to pan as long as nobody saw you doing it :)

Pat .... Actually I was hoping that it would be relaxing but I didn't want to put you to sleep :) ... I'm glad you liked it .... so I'll do more! Maybe one of these days I'll break out my real video camera and do it up right.
