And a shot down the side of our place this afternoon looked pretty too ..... We can see this tree down our hall looking out the side door through the carport so we've been watching it evolve into all it's glory ....
It was a little rainy and thunderstormy at times today but we promised Lynda a trip to the Hardy "Beach Club" ..... I dressed first and they copied me ..... how embarrassing .... but we still look pretty sexy don't you think?
Lynda's working on a silk scarf and I finally broke out one of the 30"x30" silk pieces to paint ..... almost done but I may add some stick trees to the scene

There's very good reason for the thumbs up here but I think I'll keep the surprise for another day or two :)

First off, parts of Hardy downtown reminds me of the little town in East Texas where I grew up--you had to walk up steps to get to the sidewalk--sometimes they were wooden but mostly concrete and there was an over hang to provide shade from the sun on the hot summer days. The clouds look pretty ominous--did you get any rain?

Hi Pat .... yes we did get a little rain yesterday and today is looking about the same. The cloudy skies really intensify the colors so I'm good with the rain except the wind from the storm is blowing some of the leaves off the trees .... guess that's why they call it "fall".

I'm guessing baby Sidny said her first words and after hours of coaching by the sisters managed to say, "I rock." Now there is a delay in posting this on the blog because she just won't say it again on camera. My advice - give her more worms. I know I'm right. What's the prize???
