That was Bambi and her/his twin. Hopefully they will come back again--they are sooo beautiful. Mama must have sensed your presence and told the little ones to run.
Yep ... this morning I was almost face to face with a young buck while I was watering the "rubbermaid" garden .... he just stood there watching me water and he's been leaving our garden alone .... I think he knows that we won't hurt him but a mother with her babies will be very alert and untrusting .... that's a good thing. I imagine they'll be back .... at least I hope so.
Such a cute video. Thanks for posting it. I am now in Pocatello, Idaho for three weeks. The weather is beautiful and I am enjoying time with my daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter.
