West Plains Missouri

The roads were still a bit icy here and there but not so bad that we couldn't .... finally .... get to West Plains in search of "Ozark Mountains Brew Supply" and "Fishland". Here's a condensed version, by means of an 11 minute video of our day. We love our days :)

  1. My favorite thing of the day was the rooster. Fantastic folk art. Should you be driving and operating a video at the same time, especially on icy roads? Sorry, once a mother, always a mother.

  2. Mother Bobbie :) No . . . I really shouldn't be videoing while driving but practice makes perfect and I think I'm doing much better :). Totally agree about the chicken rooster . . . If there was a way and I had the money . . . that chicken would be in our front yard!

  3. First off Lea, I saw the LP of the Tijuana Brass--I had that one years ago and just love it. I liked the rooster but I also really liked the stage coach. Marlene, you looked sooooo.....in that hat--hopefully you bought it and will wear it when you go .... .

  4. Pat ... yep ... that Tijuana Brass album was infamous ... every good album collection must contain it! Paid $1.00 for it and it was close to mint! If I can get a deal on the stage coach I'll send it to you if you think it will fit in your backyard garden :) Didn't buy the hat ... Lea teased me :( but I thought it looked quite keen on me :)
