That cheesecake looked DELICIOUS!! I couldn't hear what that long piece was that you were waiting for it to defrost--sounded like you were going to have a looooong wait!
It looked like a good day to remain indoors and hunkered down in front of the TV watching football--must say I wasn't happy with the results of either game. I even watched the Texas Longhorns vs the A&M Aggies later and wasn't real happy about that outcome. Oh well, we had an excellent dinner from the clubhouse.
Hey Pat .... That long piece was puff pastry dough .... which did defrost in about 30 minutes but I decided to wait until today to make the parmassan cheese twists I was going to use it for .... I had too much oven stuff as it was. Our dinner turned out great and I'm glad you had a great dinner from the clubhouse .... I believe the pickleball gals were going to do that again this year .... they are awesome! I never actually watched a game but they were on all day until the evening when Lea turned it on in the bedroom (still didn't watch that game either .... fell asleep). Hope Jean's feeling better :)
Like Pat, I had my Thanksgiving dinner at the clubhouse. There was a good turnout with copious food and lots of choices. As I said before, I am not into football so I watched an old movie about the Jews in Germany during WWII. I felt thankful about my life anyway but that movie really made me appreciate my life. That cheesecake looked absolutely yummy!
